Qui and I thought it would be a good idea to spread the word about some of our favorite Star Wars websites/blogs. This post is designed to help both older fans and the newer ones.

General sites:
Star Wars Official Site This one is a no-brainer, but you can find some gems. Now, if you don't like TCW, be forewarned that a lot of the site is dedicated to that TV show. I feel very behind in the series, because I haven't seen a single episode in this season besides the first one. Silly school.
The Lakehouse Forums This forum was founded by Ley, a good blogging friend of both Qui and I. She has Amaranthine and Fallon to help her run the site. It's a place for Christian fangirls to talk about Star Wars, God, school, and life in a safe environment (at least, as safe as the internet can get). My username is Dancing with Anakin and Qui's is Qui-Gon Lives.
The Star Wars Underworld Forums This is one of the forums I started out on. I can't remember my username at all, but that's where I got to know Ley a little better. This is a both guy and girl forum.
Main Star Wars Underworld Site This looks really cool! Thanks for the link, Fallon!
Wookieepedia The Wikipedia for Star Wars fans! I love this place. I get a lot of my favorite quotes from here.
Club Jade I haven't really looked into this site much.....Fallon reminded me of it. I should probably stop looking now, because I'll get sucked in and forget about this post.

Good blogs:
The Star Wars Female Fan Force blog This is a site run by several women who are all fangirls. I believe the blog used to be run by four ladies, but now they only have two contributers listed.
Amaranthine Forever This is Amaranthine's blog. She posts about a lot of things, but she has done several posts about Star Wars. One of the best things she has is a page on her blog that is a guide to the Expanded Universe, or EU. For those who don't know, the EU is many, many books written by several authors about the different characters in between the movies, before the prequels, between the prequels and originals, and after Return of the Jedi ends.
A Certain Point of View This is Sarah's blog. Star Wars is not Sarah's only fangirl universe, but she does post some interesting things about Star Wars. What I really like about her blog is that she writes from a perspective that's unique in my blog followings; she's the only college student/Star Wars fan I follow. So I get to hear some interesting perspectives. :)
Pandas, Lightsabers, and Cameras, Oh My!!! This is Cad Bane's Chick, or CBC's blog. She has some really good Star Wars information, and she has several interviews up on blog....one with Ashley Eckstein comes to mind.

Good places to shop:
Her Universe This place will always hold a special place in my heart. It's where I met most of my online friends and it's where I buy my totally awesome Star Wars apparel (I own the Padmé shirt, I Know Shirt, and the original Star Wars Burnout shirt.....so far). They're also branching out into other sci-fi areas, so Star Wars isn't the only thing they sell anymore! Ashley Eckstein, voice of Ahoska Tano on TCW, is the founder.

Good resources:
Imaginary Styles I LOVE this site!!!!! Have you ever wanted to try your hand at doing one of the elaborate hairstyles of Padmé Amidala? What about the iconic cinnamon buns of Princess Leia? Find out on this site!! I've been planning on trying out some of these styles for a while. There are also over movie fandom styles on the site as well, such as Lord of the Rings styles.
Fanfiction.net If you enjoy fanfiction (I'd say about half of my Star Wars fans do), this is the place for you! I'm going to see if I can get permission to use a friend's posts on fanfiction on here (I'm sure she'll give me permission...;) ).
The Padawan's Guide The place to go for resources and tips on making your own Star Wars costumes!!! I'm looking forward to using this site in the near future.

I was going to do a section on Anakin and Padmé fan sites, but I've decided I'm going to do a series of posts about different fansites for different Star Wars pairings, starting with my favorite couple of all time. :)
I'm also going to do a post on my favorite Star Wars YouTube videos.

I hope you enjoyed this intro to some of the best places on the internet for fangirls. :) If you have any sites I haven't mentioned dealing with these topics, let me know in our comment section! I'm going to make a page with this post in it and I'll make sure to include your sites on that page!
To be an actor, you need to have a tough skin. If you don't have one, be prepared to hurt.

I auditioned for The Best Christmas Pagenant Ever a few weeks ago. I have now auditioned for more roles than I've been cast. I'm probably not going to be cast for a while now because of all the work that's being done to my mouth because of orthodontics. But I'm going to keep auditioning anyways for the experience.
I've had issues with this one girl, Ratty, for years. Her mom is one of the most pushy, manipulative people I've ever met. I don't think my problems are directly with Ratty, but it stems from what happens to her because of her mom's actions. She went and auditioned on the first of the original two audition dates. She got her callback and she ultimately didn't go. In between her first audition and the callback, I auditioned and was told they didn't need me. Ratty and her parents had a two hour family meeting discussing the callbacks and the huge schedule adjustments needed if they put her in the play. After tears and such from Ratty, they all decided she was not going to go to the callbacks.
Long story short, her mom found out from our acting teacher that the director of the children's play was really considering Ratty for one of the roles. So, Ratty's mom pulled strings and got Ratty to go to a special audition, where she was cast.

I don't know why God chose to have everyone else I know get cast and me not, but He has a plan. I strongly suspect one of the reasons is to teach me to have a joyful heart in all circumstances and to be sweet and nice to everyone, regardless of what they get, even if it's "not fair".

All that being said, if you're considering a career in theatre, be strong. Don't let anything beat you down. Stand firm and keep working.

On a happier note, we got scripts in drama. Ratty and I are performing together and if you read our script, you'll realize we've been cast in the parts PERFECT for us. As in, it seems the play was written with our personalities in mind. :)
First Thoughts:
I loved this episode!! It went back to the old way that DW episodes were without losing the whole overlying plot of the season. Also I was happy to see Craig again! :D

Likes:
-The Doctor talking to Alphie was the CUTEST thing I've ever seen. I mean, everything Matt Smith does is cute, but this was ultra-cute.
-"Look, I get a name tag incase I forget who I am- which I do often." xD
-Has anyone else noticed that a theme that keeps showing up this season is father-son relationships? I like that...I think it always makes for a good story line.
-How the lady thought that Craig and the Doctor were together and the Doctor was totally oblivious to it was HILARIOUS!
-The little bit with Amy and Rory in the mall almost made me cry. *sniff*
-When Craig gave him the cowboy had I was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
-As you know, I don't like River. However I did like the end. Obviously we already knew that she is the impossible astronaut. But just seeing her put into the suit was just like conformation. Her floating in the water with the creepy song from Night Terrors in the background was like a perfect cliff hanger.
I only have like...two dislikes. The cybermen for one. I HATE the cybermen. Always have always will. Although I'd rather see cybermen than dalekks.
The other dislike was the fact that the Silence are back. Actually that was more of a...I like it but I don't like it. They're freaky.
Welcome to our blog...this wonderful place on the internet where you may read all about our obsessions. Shall we begin?

Errr.....yeah.

Endor is back! She's not quite sure why she's writing in third person, but she will stop that now.
I'm looking forward to sharing all about my obessions with everyone! Knowing me, my posts will probably be all over the place. But, like Qui said, most of it will center around Star Wars. I'm thinking of doing reviews for each Clone Wars episode and reviewing the Star Wars books I read.
I'll talk about my other obessions, too, don't worry! I promise not to give you just Star Wars. ;)

May the Father be with You!!!
I will be posting a review of each Doctor Who episode as they come out.

If you have not seen this episode, don't read any further! It contains lots of spoilers!!!!

First Thoughts:
In all honesty, I disliked this episode almost as much as Let's Kill Hitler. The only thing that saved it for me was the little twist at the end and the Doctor's humor.

Likes:
-Of course I always like the Doctor and his funny little lines, but I absolutely loved that he has a doctorate in cheese making.
-At first, for me, the whole nightmares thing was kind of stupid, but the way that they twisted it around in the end was cool and a bit unexpected. What with it being "They're not trying to make you scared, they're trying to make you have faith."
-I loved Howard! I almost cried when he died. Ugh, stupid Steve Moffat.

Dislikes:
-The entire episode was extremely anti-climactic. I think that it didn't end with as much of a bang as it should have.
-That chick, the doctor girl (I've already forgotten her name, that's how dull she was) was so....well she was dull. She was just a typical character that the Doctor meets on his various shennangins. You know, the ones who he thinks would make brilliant companions, but they always end up dying. She was extremely predictable.
-THIS EPISODE WAS SUPPOSED TO SCARE THE CRAP OUT OF ME. If you're going to make the preivew seem scary, make the episode scary. Also, if you're going to put the Weeping Angles in the preview, put them in the episode for more than 2 minutes.
-Once again: What is it with Steve Moffat and dying? In a television series, you can't use that too often or else it loses it's meaning. I could have predicted that that doctor girl and Howard were going to die. I did predict that! The reason why the Weeping Angles were my favorite aliens were because originally they didn't kill you.
-WHEN DID THEY DISCUSS LEAVING THE TARDIS???? WHEN??? There has got to be something fishy going on, because Doctor just like...dropped them off and left. That's ridiculous. Normally, something terribly awful happens before they leave. Like Martha and the whole Master incident. Or Donna's sad situation. And obviously what happened to Rose at Canary Warf. I'm very angry. I want more Rory! Come onnnnn.

Other:
-I'm pretty sure that the Doctor's nightmare was either the Dalekks, River Song, or Rose. I think it would be just like the Doctor to have River Song or Rose as his nightmare. And I heard that they were having Rose somewhere in series 6, so maybe we'll get to see her again! :D

Rating:
I'm giving this episode a 4/10.
Blaah. :/ I just wasn't impressed. Oh well. Tomorrow's episode should be better!
You know why? Because Lightsaber and a Script is OFFICIALLY OPEN AGAIN!
It'll be just like before except we don't have scheduled posts because those never go well and we are just going to post about everything we're obsessed with. Knowing Endor, most of her stuff will be about Star Wars, but still.

So, feel free to explore and leave anything you would like to see soon (posts, stuff like that) in the comments! :)
Who's ready for Star Wars to come out in Blu Ray NEXT MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would be, except my mom said she's heard that everyone should wait to get the next version of Blu Rays, because a bunch of extra stuff will be on them. I don't know; I haven't really done my research.

How's everyone doing? How's your love for Star Wars?

I personally haven't had much time for movie watching. I've barely been reading my EU books. School has just been taking its toll on me. It's crazy.

Don't you just love our Christmas design? It's so beautiful. We're very ahead of the calendar.

This has been a post by Padmé....a procrastination post because she doesn't want to work on the paper of retelling Beowulf that is due on Monday but is technically due tomorrow afternoon because Padmé's mom doesn't want homework on the weekend. *deep breath* That was a run-on sentence.Padmé and Qui-Gonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16335420650850518200noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4944390983421509153.post-90373056637285110852011-03-31T08:22:00.000-07:002011-03-31T08:22:21.115-07:00Well...........How are you guys doing?

The 'Leia Buns' Cloak "Ani, I'm pregnant."

In a time of increasing danger and violence, Padmé must take great care not only to protect herself, but to protect the secret of her marriage. When meeting her clandestine husband, then, she wears a rich, dark cape that covers her completely. The dark cloak not only helps her blend into the shadows, but its volume hides her pregnancy. Underneath the cloak, Padmé dons the Black Beaded Dress, a subtle gown that also helps her remain inconspicuous. But despite this need for secrecy, Padmé manages to add a characteristic flair to the outfit, in the form of a beaded brooch on her left shoulder and a mottled lining inside the cloak. Padmé's look is further accented by her heirloom suspensas dangling from her ears and her elaborate Naboo hairstyle. My opinion: I love this outfit! Her Universe needs to make earrings like these. I also like how Leia unknowingly wore Nubian hair when she wore the buns. :)
The Veranda Nightgown "It was only a dream."

Relaxing in her apartment at night, Padmé wears a steel blue silk-satin nightdress with waterfall drapery in the back. The elegant gown is accented by touches of silver: a small silver tiara, a silver brooch, and light silver pearls.
My opinion: So beautiful! I would never be able to sleep in it, though. The pearls on my arm would make me feel constricted.

The Revelation Gown "Have you ever considered that we may be on the wrong side?"

Padmé dons a heavy purple velvet cloak with a double yoke for a meeting with a group of anti-Palpatine senators, including Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. Not only is her intricately beaded and embroidered gown appropriate for the formality of the meeting, but the size of the cloak hides her pregnancy which is unknown to most senators.
My opinion: I like this one a lot, too. The sleeves are sparkly! The hair isn't my favorite.

The Blue Linen Dress "You expect too much of yourself."

Padmé wears this beautiful gown under her 'Leia Buns' cloak, and while in her apartment. The simple gown is made of navy blue linen and accented by a beaded black necklace and an elaborate jet belt. The belt, however, does not encircle Padmé's waist, but decorates the front of the gown only. Padmé sometimes dons a black lace shawl over this dress as well
My opinion: I love this one, too, along with the hair.

The Green Robe "We cannot let this turn into another war."

To meet both Obi-Wan and a group of senators in her apartment, Padmé chooses to wear an elegant green velvet robe. Both done in vivid purple, the thick sash around her waist and her ubiquitous insignia etched into the velvet add a striking color contrast to the gown. The wide silhouette of the full skirt is matched by a full hood on top, and the gown is completed by a jeweled brooch on the chest.
My opinion: I used to not be able to stand this dress, but now I love it. And the hair. :)

The Aqua Nightgown "Anakin, I'm afraid."

While watching the death of the Jedi Temple, Padmé wears a soft, flowing nightgown accented by embroidered Naboo designs, beaded gauntlets, tiny shells, and waterfall drapery flowing off the shoulders in the back.
My opinion: I love this one, too! The headband is really beautiful.

The Final Senate Appearance Dress "So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause."

In her final appearance in the senate, Padmé wears a gorgeous, rich, and layered gown of purple velvet. The gown is complimented by a circular hair piece and three intricate ornaments worn on the crinkled 'tabard.'
My opinion: I don't really like this dress. This may, in part, be due to which scene it is worn in. I do like the purpleness of it.

The Peacock Gown

Meeting with other senators to discuss Palpatine's increasingly tyrannical rule, Padmé wears a formal ensemble consisting of a pleated underdress, a velvet cloak and an intricate headress with snood.
My opinion: Eeew. Eeew. Eeew. I don't like this dress. At. All.

The Dressing Gown "I don't believe you....I can't."

Worn when Obi-Wan comes to inform Padmé of her husband's apparent fall to the dark side.
My opinion: Padmé manages to look so beautiful, even early in the morning. I love this (and the hair!).

The Sleeveless Outfit "You're going down a path I cannot follow."

When Padmé rushes off to Mustafar to find Anakin, she wears an action-oriented outfit in shades of brown. And while her ensemble is geared towards movement, it also is geared towards her pregnancy. The leather harness crossing Padmé's chest help ease her back pain while her tall boots contain cushioned inserts.
My opinion: I don't like it. The first time she really gets to show off her pregnancy, it's not even in a pretty dress. Am I the only one who gets a sudden thought of "She's not wearing any pants!" whenever you see her run across the landing platform on Mustafar? That's what goes through my mind every time I watch the movie for like three seconds.

The Hospital Gown "There is good in him....I know there is."

After spending so much of her life in an incredibly elaborate wardrobe, Padmé wears only a simple white hospital gown during her final moments.
My opinion: Who cares? I don't really spend that much time looking at this dress. I mean, really.

The Water Gown

Following her untimely death, Padmé's body is returned to Naboo for a solemn evening funeral. She is dressed in a blue-green underdress and a heavily-sequined cloak, and her hair is adorned with delicate flowers in a fittingly lovely tribute to the former queen.
My opinion: It's sooooooooo beautiful! It really is a fitting gown for the burial of the Star Wars galaxy's favorite queen. It is kind of hard to see in the movie since I can hardly see anything at the point through my tear-blurred eyes.

Now that this is over, I'm going to have to start thinking about posts again. :3

In conclusion, I must say that I love most of the Revnege of the Sith dresses. Too bad it's such a sad movie.
Well, I'm (Qui) gonna do one about Leia's!!! :D

So, lets start!

The Princess Gown

The most classic Star Wars outfit ever I'd say. Right next to the Darth Vader suit.

It is a traditional gown of the Alderaan royal family, as is the belt, and the hairstyle. The white color was meant to emphasize her purity.

I absolutely love this, and it matches Leia herself perfectly. Its not to girly at all, and perfect for ehr to move around in. I'd have to say that the top is my favorite part. I like the way it billows out over the belt. (And I LOVE the belt.) And then the hair, AHHH i want my hair to be able to do that.

White Ceremonial Gown:

This is the only other gown that Leia wore in ANH. With a similar cut (and belt) as the Princess gown, I can imagine that Carrie Fisher was growing really tired of the whole long white dresses thing. But this dress really is gorgeous. My favorite part is the sleeve/cap thingy. So flowyyyy.

Hoth Snowsuit

Leia's back in white!! How surprising...xD This is another outfit I really like. Its more practical than the others, since obviously pants are more practical that long dresses. It is in this outfit that she says perhaps my favorite line of hers ever..."Why you stuck up, half witted, scruffy looking nerf herder!" To which Han replies oh so smoothly, "Who's scruffy looking."

Bespin Gown:

I'm really not a fan of this outfit. Its probably my least favorite Leia outfit (Not counting the slave one.) In my opinion, the fabric the dress is made out reminds me of my brothers gross sweatshirt and the robe thingy over it looks like a hotel comforter. Thats just my opinion though. Moving on! PS: I love her hair though!!!

Bespin Jumpsuit:

We're back to white again! And meh its a jumpsuit. I don't have much of an opinion on this one. Other than she kinda blends into Lando's house or whatever.

End Dress:

I'm really excited, but also nervous. I haven't had any time to work on my monologue, since I've been studying for my science final that I took yesterday. Christmas Break is HERE!!!!!!!!

I'm going to be acting as Jo March from Little Women for my audition piece. The following is the part that I'm doing.....
"I hate affected, niminy-piminy girls! I'm not a young lady and if turning up my hair makes me one, I'll wear it in two tails till I'm twenty! I hate to think that I've got to grow up, and be Miss March, and wear long gowns, and look as prim as a China-aster! It's bad enough to be a girl, anyway, when I like boys' games and work and manners! I can't get over my disappointment in not being a boy; and it's worse than ever now, for I'm dying to go and fight with Papa, and I can only stay at home and knit, like a poky old woman!"
This is going to involve a great amount of acting, because I am very happy to be a girl and I make it my goal to act like a lady. But of all the March sisters, I am most like Jo. It's a toss-up. I can't wait to audition, though. My teacher is going to be very proud of me. I am going up against at least 100 other people and we're all trying to get one out of seven spots--four guy roles and three girl roles.

On another note, I am COMPLETELY confused about the SW EU timeline. Can someone with more knowledge than me tell me what comes after Isard's Revenge? I had Jedi Search for the next one, but after reading reviews on Amazon that talk about Luke coming back to the Jedi after turning to the dark side has me confused. There's been no mention of him turning in any of the books I've read. Help?

Let's hope Qui gets that singing video sorted out or has a grand idea for a new post! Till next time,

She and Anakin went to Tatooine to spend Thanksgiving with the Lars family. A lovely time was had by all, despite the fact that Padmé almost fainted several times due to the heat. It was good to get out of the smog-filled air of Coruscant. Padmé should be back posting this upcoming Monday.

In reality, I just didn't get around to posting. Sorry guys. So, to explain this, I decided to write a story. I think I'm going to slowly continue posting little "stories" about my fictional self when I have no inspiration for a post. Sorry, anti-fangirl people. You know who you are............

Look for Qui's singing post later today! I'm looking forward to it, since I've never heard Qui sing before.

Just the word makes me excited. I feel like I'm about to put on a show. Which I am, in a sense. An audition is the key to either making or breaking your career.

While I have never auditioned for a part in a movie, I have done a couple for smaller things. In my third semester of drama classes, all of the students auditioned for roles in the play that we were performing. My friend and I were extremely nervous and we were praying for the Rapture to happen before we had to audition. It being our first audition, our teacher went easy on us and we just read the parts from the script. I got the part that I wanted, which was the role of the Witch. I also auditioned for the part of the Magic Mirror. I messed up while auditioning. (I didn't mess up on purpose; I stumbled over the words).

For my second audition, we had to audition to get into the Teen Advanced class. (I love being part of a class where you have to audition to get in). Both Qui and I successfully made it. We had to perform a scene between Lucy and Linus. I think it was Linus........... I did better on that one.

Now, I have a chance to audition to be in a full scale production--it's the winter All-Star Camp! Auditions are December 11th. We'll be putting on The Secret Garden in March. Well, they will. I might, considering if I get a part or not. My teacher's encouraging me to audition.

My advice for all those auditioning?

1. Know your lines. Pretty self-explanatory.
2. Know your character. Have a "moment before" planned out and fixed firmly in your head. What was your character doing right before the monologue? What is he/she like?
3. Be confident. There will always be actors better than you. The sooner you realize it, the better off you'll be. Get to know who these actors are and start watching them and learning from what they do.
4. Get plenty of sleep. It won't do well for you to be yawning in front of the auditioners.
5. Don't be nervous. Everyone has messed up at some point in their career, even the auditioners.
6. Have fun! One of the best parts of acting is getting to be someone else. Revel in that and have fun being someone completely different than the real you.

And I just got up and ate a bowl of cereal. And there I just did a math lesson. Oh what fun.
It'll be short and to the point!!
The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini are...wonderful books. I love them. And I mean, congrats to Paolini for writing the book when he was like 15 or something. If you've read them, you'll understand that he /must/ be uber smart. He was homeschooled, so it makes sense. :3
But, he HAD to be a Star Wars fan. Because the similarities between the first two books and the first two (original, not prequel) Star Wars movies are ridiculous.

A New Hope= Eragon
-Slightly whiny farm boy (Eragon and Luke) lives with his Uncle (and aunt in Luke's case.)
-He leaves home with some seemingly crazy (or really is crazy, depending on how you would like to look at it) old man (Brom and Obi-Wan.)
-*MAJOR PLOT POINT SPOILER WARNING, IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ERAGON AND PLAN TO SKIP THIS ONE* The old master (Brom and Obi-Wan) die.
-Luke/Eragon continues his journey with a stranger (Han/Murtagh) and the two rescue a beautiful elven girl (or princess) named Arya/Leia.

Empire Strikes Back= Eldest
-Eragon/Luke goes to an elven city/Dogobah to train to become a Rider/Jedi under Oromis/Yoda, the only other Rider/Jedi left.
-Eragon/Luke sees visions of impending doom through a scrying glass (Force Vision)
-Eragon/Luke then takes it upon himself to go save the world and not complete his training like a total idiot.
-*ANOTHER MAJOR PLOT POINT SPOILER* Eragon/Luke finds out that Morzan(A bad guy who basically had the same job Vader had)/Vader is their father. But we find out in the third book, Brisingr that Brom is really Eragon's father and that is where a difference between SW and Eragon occurs. xD

There is one more book, Brisingr (theres also another one coming out soon I think) but I never finished it. Its /very/ slow moving, and its huge. So I googled similarities between Brisingr and RotJ and I found no one talking about that. So, its possible that Paolini was getting alot of the stuff I wrote above. xD So, he made an effort not to copy RotJ.

Anyway, next week will be my monthly update! Then the week after that, I'm not entirely sure.

MTFBWY!

~Qui~

PS: Last weeks poll results!
LOVE IT!= 46%
Its good, but I haven't gotten much into it= 15%
haven't read them= 15%
Whats EU?= 23%
No, i hate it, I hate star wars= 0% :DDD Yay, no haters!!!

I’m going to justify this post by saying, “I, a Han fan girl, have the right to write this post because Anakin won the poll.” Ok, now, time for the post.

Were you a slave as a child? A slave that despite having nothing, decided to help people he didn’t even know? If so, its your lucky day, you’ve passed the first step and can now move onto the second step! If not…well…lets just say, you will have to go find a flux capacitor, go back in time to your childhood (and try not to screw everything up) and make yourself that slave boy. I suggest finding your own personal Doc to help with this.

2.) Be force sensitive. It’ll work well with your girl’s force sensitiveness!
Han couldn't believe it. Finally, after months of arguing and waiting, Princess Leia was in his arms, her lips pressed to his. She had stopped resisting, and was now still. The soft grinding of servomotors rose up above all the other sounds of the injured Falcon. "Master Solo! I found what's wrong with the Falcon!" C-3PO, Luke's annoying golden protocol droid entered the small maintenance hallway exuberantly.
Han pulled away reluctantly, mentally telling himself that he would someday kill the droid. "Thank you, Threepio. I really needed to know that at this moment."

When the scruffy looking smuggler (as described by the proper princess herself) turned away to talk to Threepio, Leia scooted back against the wall. Her heart was racing and her breathing had accelerated. She crouched down, scooted around the corner, and lowered her head onto her knees. Attempting to breathe quietly, she concentrated all her will on her lungs. She heard Threepio shuffle off and Han turn around. "Princess?" She held her breath.

Han saw the white toe of Leia's boot stick out. Spreading his cocky half-grin over his face, he walked around the corner and knelt in front of her. "Hey," he said softly. She pointedly turned her head away from him. "Are you mad at me?"
"Why would I be mad at you?" Her voice was strangled.
He placed his hand on hers and was rewarded by a shiver that ran through her body. "I think," Han dropped his voice to a serious whisper. "that you're hiding something from yourself."
"Like what?"
"Like........how you feel about me."
Leia glanced at him with the corner of her eye. There was no hint of teasing in his eyes, just honesty........and..........love. She drew in a deep breath.
"C'mon. I don't bite."
She buried her face in her knees and dared to whisper. "Han...........you are.......a good..............." She swallowed hard and squeezed her eyes shut. "........kisser."
To her surprise, she heard no laughter. Silence filled the little area. When Leia looked up, Han's eyes and face were filled with longing. "Leia........I think that's the nicest thing you've said to me in a long time."
She bit her lip. "It's true."
Han smiled. He knew better than to point out the fact that many of his past acquaintances had proved that point. He knew now that he had never loved them. It had just been an adolescent attraction to a pretty girl. If this was love he felt now, he wanted to spend the rest of his life by Leia's side. Slowly, he reached out with his hand and stroked Leia's hair.
"Han, would you kiss me again?"
"With pleasure." He opened his arms wide and Leia slipped into his lap. Wrapping his arms snugly around her, he lowered his mouth to hers. Padmé and Qui-Gonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16335420650850518200noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4944390983421509153.post-38546314970953818142010-11-04T20:56:00.000-07:002010-11-04T20:56:18.693-07:00Quick AnnouncementAmazing header. 1.) Be witty. Han almost always has the right thing to say, whether its bitingly sarcastic, hilariously funny, or just plain charming, he knows what to say.
2.) Get a wookiee. It’s a well known fact that Han Solo wouldn’t be the same without his faithful wookiee, Chewbacca.
3.) Be charming! Girls liked to be charmed to the point where they don’t know what to do other than kiss you! Example?

Leia: I love you!

Han: I know.

Leia:……D:

PS: That face will be the girls face when she realizes that you could possibly die in two seconds.
4.) Do something daring that’ll make her see you as a hero. It could be anything from saving a Jedi from the abominable snowman to saving her from her murderous father. (Cue the Ani’s-girls angry faces.)
5.) Get yourself frozen in carbonite. She’ll go to great lengths to save you, and later on you’ll get married and have babies. NOTE: Step 5 should be preformed right after step 3, NEVER to be done before she admits that she cannot resist you, when she still thinks yours a scruffy looking nerf herder. It is also not recommended that if she calls you a scruffy looking nerf herder to reply, “Who’s scruffy looking!” Because then she will most likely kiss your best friend and make you watch.
6.) Be amazingly gorgeous. Sadly, for some of you this isn’t even an option. But if you’re lucky, the steps before this one might just get you a girl somewhat like Princess Leia.

If you’re attempts are unsuccessful, you can just call 888-888-8888 to order your very own Princess Leia robot! Why have a real wife, when you could have computer wife? And if you call in the next 5 seconds, you could get TWO Princess Leia robots for the price of one! But this offer is no longer valid because your 5 seconds are up. Order your Princess Leia robot for $9999.99 plus shipping and handling, today!

Afterwards: Hope you liked this post guys! :D I am quite proud of it, although it went from a tutorial to a infomercial. But thats ok!
